The Magic of Email Marketing

Expert Author Cosmus Lewis
The magic of email marketing is found in building it, and using it the right way. When anything is done right you can get the best results from it, when you use it right. Sometimes we are impatient when we try to do things, we expect too much too soon, and as a result we resort to or find ourselves prey to all kinds of short cuts that don't work as good, or not at all.
If you want to see the magic of email marketing the first thing you will have to do is build your list the right way and that means getting a product you want to sell, and one to give away, a domain name related to that product, hosting for that domain, a website to promote your product, a special page on that site this is your optin page where you will offer your free gift/product to people who visit your site in exchange for their name and email address.
Now don't forget this, your gift must be related to what you are selling this way any one sign up to get your gift becomes targeted in other words you now know what kind of information or service these people are interested in.
Okay now just two things again 1. You will need to automate the whole process of getting people to sign up for your free product, and later buy what you are selling, so what you need is an Auto-responder, here you will get your optin form, and you can store future messages to the people who are on your list, the whole thing will be automated for you by the company, set it up once and watch in run.
2. The final step to bring about the magic of email marketing is traffic; you need lots of people to see your website, there are several ways you can promote your website but here are some of the best ways: writing and posting articles, social site like Twitter and Face Book, Blog and classified ads to name a few, get more here
When people start enrolling on your list remember they are people not just names, so be good to them, respect them, inform them, thank them, reward them and they will buy from you for a long time.
Remember build it right and use it right and you will see the magic of email marketing.

Avoiding The Delete Button - How To Make Your Email Campaign Pay Off

Expert Author Diane Hughes
Have you noticed? It's becoming harder and harder to get a good response out of email campaigns. Why? The more popular an advertising method becomes, the more overused it gets. When that happens, customers develop an "immunity". They are so overwhelmed by the dozens, or even hundreds, of emails that pop into their inboxes that they simply hit the delete button without even giving it a second thought.
So how do we, as Internet marketers, battle their complacency? There are several ways that have been proven to increase customer response.
I'll assume that you already have a customer-focused, sales-oriented Web site; and that your offer is a solid one that shows value.
1. Use Short, Concise Subject Lines - While personalization has been shown to increase response rate, there are several things that have been proven to decrease it. Long subject lines are one. Try to keep yours at 40 characters or under. Why? Many email programs cut off longer subject lines. Also, avoid "hyp-ish" subjects. The more personal you are, the better. Exclamation points, the word "free" and other trigger words such as "boost" and "skyrocket" are a sure ticket to the delete file.
2. K.I.S.S. - Remember this acronym? Keep It Simple Stupid. It applies to emails, too. Don't piddle around. Get your benefits in front of the reader immediately. Likewise, it is important to note that shorter emails have proven to out perform longer ones. It is doubtful that you'll actually sell anyone from your email ad - rather, aim to pique the reader's interest, and get him/her to click to your site.
3. Timing Is Everything - Didn't think that mattered? Oh! It does! The day of the week, and the time of the day all play a significant role in how effective your campaign is. For example: almost everyone is in a rush in the morning hours. This gives a greater chance that they will delete any email they do not absolutely have to read. Take note of your target customer's typical schedule, and send your emails during their "off times".
4. Give A Deadline - One simple instruction to act before a certain date can make or break your success. Don't neglect this vital element!
5. Consider HTML - These days, most email programs are HTML compatible. In fact, over 90% of customers can receive HTML emails. Color - whether in print or on the Web - always increases readability (if done tastefully). Consider having your email converted to HTML to make it stand out in the sea of plain text messages.
6. Give It A Break - Rather than writing long paragraphs (even a 3 sentence paragraph formatted at 65 characters per line looks long), write in short 1 or 2 sentence blips. This is easier on the eyes of the reader, and doesn't take nearly as long to digest.
The competition for your customer's attention is growing greater by the day. Refining your email campaign can help you avoid the delete button, and reap greater profits.

Building Affiliate Marketing Websites the Easy Way

There are some myths in affiliate marketing, which attract a lot of people to it believing they are true. First is they think managing an online business is easy and second, they think that one can make a fortune through online marketing in an instant. Probably not even 10% of those who are into affiliate marketing became rich overnight. There may be some who fortunately achieved overwhelming success in just a short span of time after setting up an affiliate program, but not a majority of them can confidently say they only had luck. Anyone who is successful in this kind of business would say he worked hard to get to where he is right now. Success in affiliate marketing takes time and hard work, but it’s worth it.

If you are planning to start an affiliate program, one of the things you have to consider is having your own website, not just an ordinary website but a professional looking one. How do you build an affiliate marketing website? What are the easy steps to build one? First, you must have already decided on the theme or niche of your website. It would be better if you already have an idea what products or services to promote as this would help you plan the design and lay-out of your web pages. The next thing to do is to choose a domain name and get it hosted. The domain name is a unique name used to label the actual address of your website on the Internet.  In deciding what domain name to register, look into the type of products you are endorsing and the theme of your site. Having the right keywords in your domain name would give you better chances of drawing more visitors to your website. Also, choose a top level domain or extension, such as .com because it is more popular. In selecting your web host, consider the security of servers and up time guarantees.

Now, you can start creating your webpages. Don’t be disheartened if you only know a little in this field. There are page generation tools and fast launch sites available online; you just have to search for them. Countless online sources could help you build an affiliate marketing website, though you might need time to study and learn the whole process. This is one of the reasons why your site or the products you are going to promote must match your interest. Building your marketing website for the first time would be a lot more fun if you know very well the theme of your site. If you don’t have time to make your own website, you can use templates or purchase readily available websites. The latter, however, is a more expensive option.

Creating an affiliate website on your own would be cheaper and more interesting. In the process of building your website, you may also increase your knowledge in Information Technology and the use of computers, softwares and the Internet. As you educate yourself in these fields, you are increasing your advantage against other affiliate marketers. It helps a lot, though, if you already know the basics in web page development like programming languages and graphics softwares because you can make your site extra corporate-looking, more convenient to use or easier to navigate. Furthermore, if you are knowledgeable and skillful in this area, you can already concentrate more on the content of the page rather than the design.

The key to draw visitors to your website is to have high quality content; thus, the next thing you must pay attention to in building your marketing website is this. There may be several other factors that contribute to the success of your affiliate marketing site, but a good content tops the list. This is precisely the reason why users choose to enter your site. They want to get information and so when they don’t find it, they would definitely go elsewhere. Write interesting articles related to your theme as this would make them frequent your site. If you have already looked for affiliate programs that complement your site, add links to the business sites and other very good informative sites. Links contribute to how well you will be listed in major search engines as well. Also, create pages for the products you are endorsing, but don’t just promote the products by putting hyped-up ads. Keep your readers interested by injecting lots of relevant and useful information. This would make them click the link to the business site and buy the product. Remember that no good content means no frequent visitors, no sales and ultimately, no commission.

Make your site simple yet not without a touch of class in order to make it appear more of a business website rather than a personal website. This would be pleasing to the eyes and more interesting to browse. To help you with the design, you can check some successful online stores to get an idea on how you can make your site look better. Make sure you don’t place too many banner ads since these could distract some site users; and thus, instead of clicking your ad, they might just leave your site and look for other interesting websites. After all, banner ads are not the only means of advertising your products. Now your website is complete, submit its URL to major search engines to increase your traffic.

Grow from where you started. Learn about use of keywords for search engine optimization and apply them in your content. Update your site regularly or add new webpages. Make sure to inform your prospects about the latest updates in your site. You can use newsletters to accomplish this. The Internet offers a huge source of information about just anything, make use of it. Continue to educate yourself on how to improve your website and soon you’ll find yourself successful in affiliate marketing.

Paid Traffic Is Fast Traffic

Expert Author Jikly Batista
The Internet has brought many different kinds of traffic generation options to network marketing and home business owners. You can break these into paid traffic and free traffic in terms of cost and the time it takes to mange them. There are benefits to both, so in the long run you want to implement as many different ways as you can to get your website visitors.
In this article we will focus on paid traffic and why I like it so much.
Fast Traffic
Once you get your ads running paid traffic is fast traffic. You can begin getting visitors to your site almost immediately.
That is not going to be the case with free traffic. You will invest your time to get it going, and there is no guarantee it will pay off for you.
Guaranteed Traffic
Some of the traffic you pay for will be guaranteed. Pay per click, or PPC advertising is an example of this.
You fund your campaign and once it goes live you will get a visitor to whatever page you direct it to on every ad that is clicked.
With other forms of paid traffic it is easy to set up and in a few days you will start to see results. That is fast online traffic!
Targeted Traffic
Buying paid traffic is the easiest form of Internet marketing you will ever do in terms of targeting. If you are promoting a network marketing or business opportunity for example, you can buy traffic that is targeted to that audience.
You can target it to a specific audience as well. Why pay for traffic that lives on another continent when your target is people looking for ways to make money in the United States and Canada?
Easy To Set Up
There are many ways you can get paid traffic that are easy to set up. Some may take skills, but most do not.
When you buy traffic you just give the advertiser your campaign parameters and they do all of the online promotion for you. It does not get any easier than that.
Cost Controlled
I think of this as a benefit as well because you can buy as much, or as little traffic, as you need and as your budget allows. You are in charge.
They key is to avoid advertising deals that are cheap or sound to good to be true. Not all Internet advertising is equal and you will get what you pay for.
These are a few reasons I like paid advertising. It is fast and offers many benefits to people looking for a way to build their network marketing or home business opportunity.

Promoting Your Brand on Twitter

Expert Author Ted Prodromou
Twitter is a great marketing channel for promoting your business, but you need to approach it thoughtfully and implement a purposeful strategy. Businesses can effectively use Twitter for inbound and outbound marketing. Here are few specific ideas.
Promote your brand by optimizing your Twitter profile. Be sure to:
- Use your logo as your profile picture
- Use your Brand name as your Twitter handle and your Twitter username
- Use your brand name in your Twitter bio and add a link to a white paper in your bio
- Add your website URL to your profile
- Use your brand name as your hashtag and include it in all Tweets
Generate leads by offering white papers, instructional videos, e-books and product samples if appropriate. Write a compelling Tweet with a link to the lead gen asset.
Always send visitors to a separate landing page with an opt-in form for each asset you Tweeted about.
- After visitors opt in to receive the asset, follow up with a series of emails that introduce them to your products and to additional white papers, videos, and eBooks.
- Track your results so you know which assets are most popular and which Tweets generate the best response. Tweets are like subject lines in your emails, so track your Tweets in a spreadsheet so you know which work best.
Promote webinars, conferences, training classes and other events sponsored by your company. Write Tweets that promote the events and include a link to a landing page where they can sign up for the events. Again, use a separate landing page for each event and track your results.
Promote your brand using Twitter advertising. We will get into Twitter advertising in a later post, but for now be aware that paid advertising is another option to consider.
Display the Twitter logo prominently on your website and encourage people to Follow you on Twitter. Also add links to your Twitter page in your email footer, on your blogs, and in your email newsletters. Constantly ask people to Follow you in all of your marketing materials.
If appropriate, you can offer discount codes in your Tweets.
Remember, the key to success when using Twitter for marketing is to carefully plan your Twitter marketing campaigns and measure your results so you can replicate the campaigns that work.
Tweet consistently so your followers see your name on a regular basis. Also, don't be afraid to send the same tweet more than once because you never know when your audience is watching.

Should You Buy Website Traffic?

Many people are crazy about the number of visitors that their site gets. For the majority of businesses, web traffic is nothing but a number - it is the amount of people visiting the site. Many companies believe that if they get more people visit their site, their chances of getting better sales are higher. Which makes complete sense because you get to use your website to convert your visitors through videos, FAQ's and even other relevant information that can be posted on the site.
The question is, should you buy website traffic? Won't this be a violation of most search engines policies? Can you even expect results these days when buying traffic? Remember, traffic that doesn't convert visitors into customers are completely useless. This is probably one of the reasons why not all companies have considered using this method to market their business.
However, buying website traffic isn't as bad as it looks like - and all it takes is a reliable provider who will provide your site with traffic that you need. This means that if you're planning on buying visitors, you should find someone who can give you targeted traffic, to increase the chances of getting more people interested in your website, business, products and/or services in general.
Here are some of the things that you need to do to ensure that you found the right company which provides web traffic:
Quality
You need high-quality traffic - this means real people, not by those made up by bots. This is an important factor for you to check whenever you buy website traffic. Before you buy website traffic, you should be assured that what you'll get are human visitors, because as mentioned earlier, traffic is nothing when you don't get to convert. You can track the numbers, but all of these are useless for people don't buy from you.
Rates
Compare rates online. Check with other providers and choose one that meets your budget.
Performance
Lastly, when you buy website traffic, track your site's performance. You can even send a broadcast campaign or even see how much of those web visitors are converted into paying customers. If you are getting significant results, congratulations! If not, you probably should start looking for another provider, or, you might be targeting the wrong market.
Usually, the results and statistics would speak for themselves. All you have to do is analyze and see which sources and even Traffic type work well for your business.
